 "Taz The Crab" is the biggest crab in the world. He is over 80 feet in diameter. He has a self contained inflation system which fills his body with 45,000 cubic feet of air. His body measures in excess of 26 feet wide x 13 feet tall, with 26 foot long legs and gargantuan claws more than 12 feet long. If "Taz" were a live crab, he would feed more than 225,000 people and need 36,116 pounds of drawn butter and 46,000 lemons to complete the crab feast! This $30,000.00 crustacean will be sitting on our roof till September and is always a photo favorite of many passers by.  The Giant "Tasmanian King Crab" pictured above is imported from Australia It is the worlds largest of it's species. They grow in excess of 35 lbs each. Next time you are at East Bay Crab & Grille ask your server to bring this Giant out for you to see. |
